- Behavioral Help -

Veterinary Behavior is a specialty field of veterinary medicine dedicated to diagnosing and treating behavioral problems in dogs and cats.

Dog and cat problems addressed frequently include - and are not limited to - aggression towards unfamiliar or familiar people, aggression towards unfamiliar or housemate animals, house soiling (urinary marking and/or inappropriate toileting), separation related problems, compulsive disorders, cognitive decline (senility), noise or thunderstorm fears/phobias, and unruly behaviors.

During your initial 90-minute appointment, Dr. O’Brian, Dr. Baucom, and the SABT team will learn your pet’s history and story, then move on to discussions relating to your pet’s diagnosis. From there, we will work together to create a tailored and unique treatment plan that fits your pet’s needs. Treatment plans may include a combination of behavior modification, environmental adjustments, and medications or supplement options.
