"My German Shepherd, Caesar, had been exhibiting escalating signs of compulsive disorder (spinning/tail chasing) and anxiety. This had led to him not sleeping at night and only settling in the car while I was driving. Something had to be done and his regular vet was out of ideas. Our first visit with Dr. Maggie exceeded my expectations. She and the entire staff made Caesar and I feel welcome and comfortable. Over several visits and online meetings we have created a plan that has let Caesar (and myself) sleep. Dr. Maggie is wonderful about knowing the current research and thinking outside the box when “Plan A”....or “B”....or “C” doesn’t work. I would recommend Southeast Animal Behavior to anyone who’s regular vet is “stumped” by their pet’s behavior. Everyone at Southeast Animal Behavior has been so patient and Dr. Maggie has suggested an orthopedist for possible pain as well as an in-home trainer to help with doggie relaxation techniques, establishing what we refer to as “Team Caesar”. Her knowledge and willingness to collaborate with other professionals has been life-changing. I have my buddy back!"

"I am so pleased with how Birdie was treated during her first visit with SABT. From the private, low-stress entrance, Birdie was able to get into an exam room based all around her. She had a couch to sit on during the visit, water available, pheromones active, a frozen interactive food toy, dozen of treat options, and a barrier set up so if she wanted to stay out of view she could. SABT was so patient and kind with how nervous she was. They worked so quickly to get a game-plan together to where I got discharge instructions and medications same day! I would recommend them to anyone for their pet."

"Dr. Kristina Baucom and the staff at Southeast Animal Behavior and Training were so great to our Ragdoll, Piper. She has been struggling with some anxiety and acting out as a result. When we brought her in, they had prepared a room for Piper to help make her feel at ease, feel comfortable and welcome so that they could observe her. We were blown away by how thoughtful it was all prepared. My daughter and I were given lots of time to explain what had been happening to Dr. Baucom and she took time to help us understand Piper’s cat behavior. She was also available by email to help guide us. We have since implemented all of the things she suggested and are seeing improvements. We would 100% recommend using them and are so glad we found them and Dr. Baucom!"
